Quick answer
Buy from the club that is playing at home: Inter on inter.it/tickets, AC Milan on booking.acmilan.com or at the Casa Milan ticket office. Most league games go on general sale a few weeks ahead, and in October 2026 Inter’s cheapest adult seats ranged from €7 to €45 depending on the match. Each ticket carries a name, so bring your passport, and skip resale websites.
Ticket prices, sale dates and stadium rules below come from the official Inter and AC Milan sites and the San Siro ground regulations, checked on 5 October 2026.
Who plays at San Siro, and which club sells your ticket
San Siro, officially the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, is home to both AC Milan and Inter. The two clubs take turns, and each one sells tickets only for its own home games. The first step is to check whose home match falls on your dates.

These were the men’s first-team home games on sale or listed on 5 October 2026:
| Date | Match | Competition | Sold by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sat 10 Oct 2026 | Inter vs Parma | Serie A | inter.it |
| Tue 13 Oct 2026 | Inter vs Club Brugge | Champions League | inter.it |
| Sun 18 Oct 2026, 6pm | AC Milan vs Atalanta | Serie A | acmilan.com |
| Wed 21 Oct 2026 | Inter vs Shakhtar Donetsk | Champions League | inter.it |
| Sun 25 Oct 2026 | Inter vs Fiorentina | Serie A | inter.it |
| Sat 31 Oct 2026, 8:45pm | AC Milan vs Inter (derby) | Serie A | acmilan.com |
| Sun 8 Nov 2026 | Inter vs Como | Serie A | inter.it |
Serie A dates and kick-off times are often moved a few weeks before the game, so confirm on the club site before you book flights around a match. Inter also lists its home derby against AC Milan for 14 February 2027 and Juventus for 10 January 2027.
How to buy official tickets
Inter sells tickets exclusively on inter.it/tickets. Each match page shows the price list by sector, the ticket types and a seat map.
AC Milan sells on booking.acmilan.com, at the Casa MilanMap ticket office (the club headquarters at Via Aldo Rossi 8), at the AC Milan flagship store on Via Dante and through Vivaticket outlets.

Casa Milan, AC Milan's headquarters, which houses the club's ticket office, museum and store.
Both clubs sell in phases. Season-ticket holders and members buy first, then tickets go on general sale to everyone. For AC Milan vs Atalanta, members could buy from 11 September and general sale opened at 3pm on Monday 14 September, about five weeks before the game. Sales open at set times in Italian time, which is six hours ahead of New York.
How much tickets cost
Prices depend on the opponent, the competition and the tier. These are the adult prices Inter showed on 5 October 2026 for its standard (BASE) ticket:
| Match | Cheapest seat | Most expensive seat |
|---|---|---|
| Inter vs Parma (Serie A) | €27 | €185 |
| Inter vs Fiorentina (Serie A) | €40 | €200 |
| Inter vs Como (Serie A) | €45 | €215 |
| Inter vs Club Brugge (Champions League) | €13 | €125 |
| Inter vs Shakhtar Donetsk (Champions League) | €7 | €90 |
The cheapest seats are in the third tier (Terzo anello). Second-tier seats cost €55 to €125 for these three league games, and the Poltroncina Rossa seats in the first tier are the most expensive.
AC Milan’s tickets for the Atalanta game started at €29, with reduced prices in some sections for under-16s and over-60s. The club also sells add-ons: Fast Track entry through a dedicated gate from €5 (€9 for the derby), and, for the derby, a pre-match San Siro Museum Experience with food and drinks for €60. Tickets for disabled fans cost €35 for the derby, including a companion.
Names, ID and fan cards
Every ticket is issued in the name of the person who will use it. The San Siro ground regulations require you to show a valid identity document together with your ticket at the outer checkpoints, so stewards can match the two. Bring your passport.
If plans change, Inter’s BASE ticket allows one change of name for a fee (€5 to €20 depending on the tier and competition), while the dearer PLUS ticket includes one change. Changes open 24 hours before the match. AC Milan has its own name-change service, but for the 31 October derby it switched name changes off for tickets bought in any phase.
You do not need a fan card for a normal general-sale ticket. Inter’s Siamo Noi card (€15, valid six years) is needed for season tickets and away sections and gives priority for the biggest games. AC Milan’s CRN Card is required for sales that the authorities restrict. For the Atalanta game, for example, residents of Bergamo could only buy in the home sectors with a CRN Card. Inter ships the Siamo Noi card in about 30 days, so it rarely helps a one-off visitor.
Milan derby tickets and other games that sell out
The derby between AC Milan and Inter is the hardest ticket in the city. For Inter’s home derby in November 2025, the club said the stadium was sold out, with over 90% of seats assigned to season-ticket holders, Inter Club members and loyalty subscribers. The last seats were only available on the season-ticket holders’ resale platform.
For the 31 October 2026 derby, AC Milan ran four member phases before opening general sale at 3pm on 30 September, “subject to availability”. Big games such as those against Juventus can also go quickly, so buy as soon as general sale opens.
Both clubs run their own resale of seats that season-ticket holders cannot use: Inter through its season-ticket resale page on inter.it, and AC Milan through a resale section on booking.acmilan.com. If an official sale shows no seats, check those before you give up.
Avoid unofficial resale
Inter tells fans to avoid private listings and not to buy from other platforms. Prices are inflated, and the club warns of a very high risk of fraud: paying and receiving nothing, or getting a counterfeit ticket that won’t open the turnstile. Inter does not supply tickets to any resale platform. Because the name on the ticket has to match your ID at the gate, a resold ticket in someone else’s name can also leave you outside.
Getting to San Siro on match day
From the 2026/27 season the entrances have changed because of the building site for the new stadium next door. Parking spaces have been cut and will keep shrinking through the season, so Inter advises everyone to come by public transport.

The ticket gates at San Siro Stadio, the M5 metro terminus beside the stadium.
Inter recommends a route by sector:
| Your sector (on the ticket) | Recommended route |
|---|---|
| Orange, Green or Red | Metro M1 (red line) to Lotto |
| Orange, Blue or Red | Metro M5 (lilac line) to San Siro Stadio, or tram 16 to Stadio Meazza |
A metro ticket costs €2.20 and is valid for 90 minutes, and you can tap a contactless card at the gates. From the Duomo, take the M1 to Lotto and walk, or change there to the M5. From Milano Centrale, take the M2 to Garibaldi and change to the M5. Our Milan metro guide explains the lines and tickets.
Your ticket shows a recommended entrance. Entrances 7 to 10 are closed, and three are compulsory: entrance 2 for the Secondo Verde, entrance 3 for the Terzo Verde and entrance 15 bis for the away section. Get there early: for the 2025 derby Inter opened the gates three hours before kick-off. After the final whistle the M5 station is crowded, and after a night game check the ATM app for the last trains back to your hotel. One habit to pick up before then: on the escalators, stand on the right and walk on the left. With a stadium crowd behind you, people will tell you if you forget.
What you can’t bring into San Siro
Expect a search, possibly with a metal detector. The ground regulations and Inter’s match-day notice ban:
- Alcohol, and drinks in cans, glass or plastic bottles
- Large umbrellas (only small ones without a point are allowed when it rains), crutches, helmets, pushchairs and trolleys
- Lighters, lasers, flares and fireworks
- Unauthorised flags and banners, and professional camera equipment
- Animals
Smoking is banned inside the stadium. Breaking the ground regulations can mean being removed and a fine of €100 to €500.
Seeing San Siro without a match
If no home game fits your dates, the official San Siro Museum and TourMap takes you into both teams’ locker rooms, through the players’ tunnel and to the edge of the pitch for €37. Our San Siro stadium tour guide covers tickets and the Skywalk on the roof, or you can book San Siro stadium tours on GetYourGuide. The clubs plan to replace the stadium with a new one next door for the 2030-31 season, so the current San Siro has only a few seasons left.
For the rest of your stay, our list of things to do in Milan compares the main sights by price and closing day, and the 3 days in Milan itinerary shows how to fit a match or a stadium visit around the Duomo and the Last Supper.
