Privacy and cookies

The Best in Milan has no accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so we never ask for your name or email. The only data we collect is anonymous traffic data, and only if you allow it.

The site is run by Arturo Giampieri, who is responsible for this data. For any question or request about your data, write to [email protected].

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides people read. It runs in Google Consent Mode: until you click Accept, no analytics cookies are stored on your device. If you accept, Google sets the _ga and_ga_FWV0ZSMS9R cookies, which last up to two years.

Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. Advertising features and data sharing for ads are off, and visit-level data is deleted after two months. Google Ireland Limited processes the data on our behalf; its privacy policy is atpolicies.google.com/privacy.

Affiliate partners

Some links go to partners such as GetYourGuide, TheFork, Booking.com and Trainline. A small GetYourGuide script counts views and clicks on its links. Once you land on a partner's site, its own cookie policy applies.
